Track and field, boxing, men's soccer, judo, table tennis, women's basketball and beach volleyball—the seven sport disciplines that will be on the program for the VI Games of La Francophonie.
The soccer players were the first to face each other—on September 26 at Rafic Hariri Stadium in Sidon (Saida), before the Games have even officially begun. They will keep us on tenterhooks until the end, since the final will be played on October 6, just before the closing ceremony.
Boxing fans will be able to follow the athletes from September 28 to October 5 at Pierre Gemayel field. The judo competitions will take place September 28 to 30 at Michel el-Murr field.
The Homenetmen Club will host the table tennis competitions from September 28 to October 4. Basketball fans will be able to follow the achievements of the women's teams at the Riadi club from September 28 to October 5.
And don’t miss the track and field events, which will be held at Cité Sportive Camille Chamoun from October 1 to 5.
Beach volleyball, a popular sport in Lebanon, will be an exhibition discipline from September 28 to October 4. The athletes will compete in Byblos.
