| Description | The Ici on parle français program began in 1998 as a pilot project and is now part of Nova Scotia's Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage. A logo with a fleur-de-lis and star representing Acadia was created to identify participating businesses that provide services in both official languages. To qualify, businesses must have a bilingual employee on site at all times and provide high-quality service in French. The Department provides promotional materials free of charge and ensures that businesses are identified in the tourism guide and on the Province's official tourism site.
