Flags in Canada

Every province and territory in Canada has its own flag. However, the one symbol that unites us all is the red and white national flag of Canada, first raised on February 15, 1965.

  1. Label each flag below with the name of the province or territory to which it belongs.
  2. Study the flags carefully. Do you see any features that are the same?
  3. What story does each flag tell?
  4. Make a list of all the different places in your community where the Canadian flag is flown.
