This year I have drawn politicians and activists, explorers and entertainers, inventions and events. I have drawn the famous and the ordinary. I drew them big and small, not because of their significance but, to show the diversity of people, places, and events that have shaped our country over the past 140 years. All of these images are swirling around the red maple leaf; our national symbol!
